The Great Migration Safari

On this 5 days safari you will visit the Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti National Park. The seasonally sight of thousands of wildebeests and zebras crossing the grassland savannah is something to behold and is surely one of Africa’s natural wonders. Furthermore you will be awarded with beautiful landscapes, an animal-filled crater and thousands of flamingos.

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Pick up from Moshi/Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2 hours). Enjoy a game drive in the park, renowned for its ancient baobab trees, large herds of elephants, and seasonal swamps teeming with wildlife. Spot zebras, wildebeest, and predators like lions and leopards.

Lunch: Picnic inside the park. Afternoon: Continue exploring before heading to your lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

Depart after breakfast and drive to Serengeti National Park via the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy game viewing along the way. Lunch: Picnic lunch en route. Afternoon: Arrive in the central Serengeti (Seronera) and afternoon game drive. Experience the iconic plains filled with diverse wildlife, from prowling lions to grazing gazelles. Evening: Relax at your lodge or campsite within the park.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Early morning game drive in the Serengeti to catch the wildlife at its most active. Witness predators hunting or herds migrating across the savannah. Breakfast: Return to the lodge or picnic breakfast in the wild. Midday: Depart Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with optional stops at Maasai villages along the way. Evening: Check-in at your lodge or campsite near the crater rim for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the "Big Five." Enjoy a full morning game drive. Spot black rhinos, lions, elephants, and abundant birdlife in the diverse habitats of this natural wonder. Lunch: Picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the crater. Afternoon: Ascend the crater and begin your return journey to Arusha, arriving by evening.
